    SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS

+ What happens if it rains?

Weather cancelations are made the day of. In extreme weather, we may cancel for your safety, in these instances we will give the option of a rain check or full refund.

+ What are the age and weight restrictions?

    • Minimum: 9 years old, 65 lbs
    • Maximum: 250 lbs (men), 220 lbs (women)

+ Why is the women’s weight limit lower than the men’s?

    • We use a self‑active braking system, so guests must stop themselves using upper body strength.
    • In our experience, this can be unsafe for some women over 220 lbs if they’re not tall.
    • Safety is the priority — the limit helps prevent loss of control or injury.

+ Can I zipline if I exceed the weight limit but am tall?

    • Men: Maximum is 250 lbs — no exceptions.
    • Women: Maximum is 220 lbs — possible exceptions for women 5’8″+ with strength and confidence.
    • For safety, guests outside these limits are not able to participate.

+ Can my 8-year-old participate if they meet the weight requirement?

No — all participants must meet the minimum age requirement.

+ Do I need to go on the tour with my child?

No, the child can zipline without you. Though they will need a release form signed by their parent or leg guardian.

+ Can my child ride with me or a guide?

No — each guest rides individually for safety.

+ Can I sign a waiver for someone else’s child?

A parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver.

+ Can younger children stay at the welcome center?

Yes, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.

+ Can I zipline while pregnant?

For safety reasons, pregnant guests are not allowed to participate.

    + Can elderly guests participate?

Yes, as long as they meet physical and safety requirements.

We have people of all ages come out and enjoy our tour, however, it really depends on the individual’s activity level and health status. Please consider how well they get around. They will need to be able to hike uphill unassisted throughout the tour as well as be able to self-break themselves using their upper body strength. This activity is not recommended for anyone who cannot walk up three flights of stairs unassisted, while still having a good amount of energy to keep going.

+ Can I bring a cane or walking stick?

    • No — walking aids are not allowed on tour for safety.
    • All participants must be able to hike uphill unassisted.

+ Can I zipline if I have pre-existing health conditions?

If you have any medical concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor before booking.

+ What about back or neck problems?

Guests with back, neck, or joint issues should consult a physician before participating.

We do not recommend participating in our zipline tour if you have had back or neck injuries. Sitting in the harness can put pressure on these parts of the body. We also have rugged hill country terrain that can be uncomfortable for customers with previous injuries.

+ Do I need prior experience?

No experience is necessary. Our guides will walk you through everything step by step.

+ What if I’m afraid of heights?

That’s completely normal! Many first-time guests feel the same way. Our guides are great at helping you feel comfortable and confident.

    No-shows are non-refundable.

+ Can everyone in my group book separately?

    • Yes — if each reservation includes a group name (e.g., “Smith Party”).
    • Max of 13 people together per group.
    • Up to 24 people per tour time, split into two groups if necessary.

    If you want everyone to book separate reservations we recommend adding a group name so we will know who is in your party. This can be added after your full name. For example;

    John Smith - Smith Party

Then everyone with the group name Smith Party will be put together.
